Building confidence through brand clarity.
The brief was to develop a new brand identity for ForTex, a specialist asset protection company founded by one of the original creators of Veritas following its acquisition. The challenge was to create a professional, corporate brand capable of competing with established national providers, while communicating the company's core strengths of reliability, responsiveness and operational excellence.
The project began with an in-depth discovery phase, exploring the competitive landscape, market opportunities, customer personas and long-term business ambitions. Working closely with the founder, we defined the brand's mission, vision, personality and positioning, identifying the qualities that would differentiate ForTex from larger competitors. This strategic foundation shaped every creative decision that followed, ensuring the brand reflected calm confidence, accountability and a practical, human-led approach to protection.
A series of identity concepts were then developed, exploring themes of vigilance, resilience and trust. The chosen direction centred around The Sentinel — a visual and verbal concept representing constant presence, quiet confidence and dependable protection. This was supported by a modern identity system, colour palette, typography, messaging framework and application examples across digital platforms, vehicle livery, marketing collateral and branded communications.
The result is a confident and scalable brand that positions ForTex as a credible challenger within the asset protection sector. More than simply a logo, the project established a complete strategic foundation that gives the business a distinctive voice, communicates professionalism to national procurement teams, and provides a platform for long-term growth.
