Stone Executive Recruitment was very much the latter: a project shaped through listening first, understanding the client's market, and translating commercial needs into a website that felt credible, refined and right for the audience it needed to attract.

From the outset, the brief was about more than a visual refresh. The new site needed to represent the business with greater clarity and confidence, while sitting comfortably within the expectations of the executive recruitment and senior management market. It needed to feel professional and polished, but never generic. Strategic, but still approachable. Elevated, but grounded in the realities of the client's budget and deadline.

The process started with a direct customer brief, followed by a careful discovery phase. Time was taken to listen properly, understand the business, identify what mattered most, and make considered suggestions around structure, design direction and delivery. From there, the project was formalised into a clear proposal, including costings, scope of work, inclusions and exclusions - all carefully shaped to meet both budget and timeframe requirements.

With the foundations agreed, the design phase began.

Three visual routes were created to explore different directions for the brand online, each one responding to the brief in a distinct but commercially relevant way. These concepts were presented back to the client, giving space for discussion, feedback and refinement. One route was selected, a small number of tweaks were made, and the project moved forward into the rollout of the key pages.

At every stage, the focus was on creating something that felt aligned with the executive search sector. The design language needed to convey trust, discretion and professionalism - qualities that are essential in this market - while also giving the brand a more contemporary and confident digital presence. Typography, spacing, imagery and layout were all handled with that in mind, ensuring the final result felt both premium and purposeful.

The outcome is a website that reflects Stone Executive Recruitment more accurately: clear in its positioning, confident in tone, and visually appropriate for the senior-level audience it serves. The finished site balances professionalism with personality, helping the business present itself in a way that feels credible, modern and considered.
